Hello There!

I’m Suzzette, and my artistic journey begins with single digital me. Cue the time travel music…who doesn’t love a good flashback. Let’s trace back to the days of me in pigtails, oversized t-shirt smocks, and a love for every fingerpainting masterpiece. Picture a young me, immersed in the magic of creation, from arts and crafts to exploring museum exhibits and reading all the exhibit labels (ok my mom read them to me back then).

As the years unfolded, my passion for art matured alongside my understanding of its nuances. I vividly recall being spellbound by the legendary Bob Ross, attempting to decipher the secrets of his brushstrokes. Fast forward to my early tween years, where my first “real” painting class guided me through the realms of fruit bowls and landscapes.

The turning point arrived with the discovery of MTV’s captivating graphics and the enchanting world of advertising – I wanted in! The fusion of clever copy and visually stimulating graphics had me hooked. In high school, I explored the clubs that exposed me to the wonders of publishing and publicity, crafting event-promoting flyers and improving my copywriting skills. This passion extended into my role as a publicity chair for my youth group and later as the Communications/Publicity chair for my sorority.

Venturing into young adulthood, I embarked on internships and co-ops at the local newspaper and magazine company, eventually landing my dream job in an advertising agency in the heart of New York City. My journey evolved with each role, from a junior designer to founding my own design studio, cultivating a wealth of knowledge and experience including learning opportunities from failures and success.

Creativity is not just a part of my work; it’s woven into my being. I’m an observer, finding inspiration in the world around me. I embrace growth, constantly pushing boundaries and stepping out of my comfort zone to explore new approaches. My expertise lies in producing visually pleasing, informative marketing materials, assets and collateral for both print and digital platforms.

With a diverse background spanning retail, hospitality, lifestyle, and non-profit sectors, I’ve had the privilege of working with Fortune 100 companies and local startups alike.
